We had such an amazing time quilting with friends this trip! Thank you to all that could make it and we were sad to miss those that couldn’t.

A huge thank you to Betty Simmons for planning this for our group. This year for our block exchange we used the opportunity to make a patriotic friendship block to donate to Quilt of Valor. For this meeting we chose to donate to the Finney County group and had an amazing turnout of over 50 blocks from our KQO group! We thank you, thank you, thank you all for your outpouring love and support and we thank all our veterans for your time and service to us and our country.

KQO was established in October of 1984 to further the art of quilting within the state and to bring quilters together to share their knowledge. Our membership includes hundreds of quilters from around the state of Kansas and a number of members from other surrounding states. We meet twice a year for two days, attending workshops, lectures, trunk shows, and other assorted activities. Every other year we offer a fellowship as well. Our instructors and lecturers can include local talent from surrounding areas, guests brought in from around the Midwest based on recommendations and requests and of course our own immensely talented KQO members.
